Prof (Dr) Md.Rahmatullah is working in the Department of Law since 2002 and has been elevated as Professor (Economics) in 2017. He started his career as Assistant Professor in Economics in 2000, from Poona College, Pune ( affiliated to Pune University ). He graduated and accomplished his Master Degree in Economics from Aligarh Muslim University. He was also awarded Ph.D. Degree in Economics in 2002. He got published one book ; and many research papers in different journals and edited books like Southern Economist, Aligarh Law Journal, UGC Listed and Scopus Listed Journals, etc. His interest of research is in the area of Economics of  Development and International Trade.

He is also having teaching experience of Competition Law and International Trade Law
