Dr. Jahangir Alam is an Associate Professor in University Women's Polytechnic at AMU Aligarh. He graduated in science from Meerut University, Meerut in the year 1992 and received his master's degree in Computer Science and Applications from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in the year 1995. He has received his Ph.D. (CS) degree from Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering at prestigious Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), Patiala in the year 2016. His areas of interest include Interconnection Networks, Parallel & Distributed Systems, High Performance Computing (HPC), Scheduling & Load Balancing, Computer Communication Networks and Databases. He has authored/ co-authored over 20 papers in various journals and conference proceedings. He has keen interest in Cricket, Badminton and 12-Bore Shooting, in which he has participated and qualified state level events (Uttrankhand).
