Tazyeen Ahmad has joined department of Civil Engg. as a lecturer in March 1984, his career started with the teaching of first course of civil engg. 'Strength of Materials'. He obtained the degree of M.Sc. Engg. (Building Engg.) in 1990. Since 1990, he is engaging the classes of 'Design of Concrete Structures' and 'Construction management' at UG and PG level. He completed his doctorate in 2005. He has published research paper in Indian Concrete Journal and Journal of Environment Engineering and Policy. He is presently guiding a Ph.D. thesis on cost management. His area of interest are operation research and cost management . He has keen interest in establishing the laboratory and maintenance of equipment. His current area of interest is construction labour economics, theory of knowledge, epistemology, research methodology and rehabilitation economics.
