Dr. Syed Danish Hasan is working as Professor in Civil Engineering Department, AMU Aligarh. He did his undergraduate and master's programme from AMU and PhD from JMI New Delhi. He possesses teaching and research experience of about 29 years. His research interests include offshore structures, fibre-reinforced composites, seismic analysis, and the application of soft computing techniques in the field of civil engineering materials. He has published several papers in various National and International journals/conferences. Some of the journals in which his articles have been published are Journal of Structural Engg (ASCE), Advances in Structural Engineering (Springerlink), Journal of Earthquake and Tsunami (World Scientific), Structural Engineering and Mechanics (Techno Press), Applied Soft Computing journal, etc. He also serves as a reviewer for several international journals (Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration; Structural Engineering and Mechanics, etc).
