Dr. Mohd Moonis Zaheer is an Associate Professor at Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, AMU Aligarh. After completing B. Tech. in Civil Engineering (1994), he did his M. Tech. in Structural Engineering  (1996) and PhD in the area of Offshore Structures (2010). He possesses teaching and research experience of more than 27 years. His research interests include Nanomaterials and Supplementary cementitious materials in concrete, Durability of concrete , Dynamic analysis of offshore structures etc. 

He has successfully guided 01 PhD thesis. At present, 04 PhD students are working under his supervision. Apart from this, he has guided 10 M.Tech. Dissertations. 52 of his research papers have been published in leading refereed journals and conferences. At the moment, his citations are 316 with i10 index as 10 and h-index as 10. Some of the journals in which his articles have been published are Journal of Wind Engineering and Industrial aerodynamics (Elsevier-2#),  Arabian journal of Science and Engineering (Springer), Journal of Advances in Structural Engineering (Sage), Journal of Building Engineering (Elsevier), Journal of Advances in Concrete Construction (Techno Press),  Journal of Tall and Special Buildings (Wiley), Journal of Ocean Engineering (Elsevier), Journal of Ocean Systems Engineering (Techno Press), Journal of Fatigue and Fracture of Engineering materials and Structures (Wiley), Journal of Wind and Structures (Techno Press-4#), etc. He has reviewed papers of reputed International journals (Wind Engineering and Industrial aerodynamics; Ocean Engineering, 6# etc.).
