Dr. Saleha Ilhaam is presently serving as an assistant professor of English at the Centre for Distance and Online Education, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. She possesses both a master's degree and a PhD in English Literature from the Department of English, Aligarh Muslim University. Her research concentrated on investigating the literary portrayal of the subaltern identities in Indian English fiction. She teaches foundational and ability enhancement courses in English to undergraduate students and specialized courses in English literature to post-graduate students. In addition to her instructional responsibilities, she consistently engages in both international and national seminars and conferences that encompass both disciplinary and interdisciplinary themes. Furthermore, she has published several scholarly articles in esteemed national and international journals. Her research interests predominantly encompass Post-colonial Studies, Culture and Gender Studies, World Literature, and Indian English Literature.
