Dr Nida Fatima is currently working as Assistant Professor (Political Science) at the Centre for Distance and Online Education, AMU, Aligarh. She has qualified UGC-NET in Public Administration and prior to joining as Assistant Professor she has also been awarded Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Public Administration from Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi in 2021. Her main areas of research interest are Employment, Development, Globalization, Policies Women Entrepreneurship and Socio-economic Development. She completed her PhD in Public Administration in 2017 and Master's in Public Administration in 2014 from the Department of Political Science, AMU, Aligarh, and she has also done Graduation in Political Science from Women’s College AMU Aligarh in 2012. She has published various research papers in National and International reputed peer-reviewed journals. She has presented numerous research papers at national and International Conferences. She has also attended several workshops and seminars, includes Ministry of Labour and Employment, UGC and ICSSR-sponsored workshop on research methodology. She has also written a book in 2020 on employment and development condition of India.
