Dr. Asfiya Karimi is a Guest Teacher in the Bridge Course, AMU, Aligarh, (INDIA). She has qualified NET-UGC in the year 2012. She was awarded the Ph.D. by the Department of Sociology, AMU, Aligarh on the topic entitled 'Bhadohi Carpet Industry: Dynamics of Social Exclusion' in 2016. She has been the recipient of the Post-Doctoral Fellow, ICSSR, New Delhi on the topic entitled 'In pursuit of Digital Inclusion in India.' She has published Seven Research papers in UGC care Listed and referred journals. She has co-authored One Occasional paper entitled 'In pursuit of Alternative livelihood: Redundancy of labour in Aligarh Lock Industry' under DRS-I project in the Department of Sociology, AMU. She has contributed papers and participated in national and International Conferences and seminars.
