Presently Dr. Aabgeena Naeem is working as associate professor in department of biochemistry, AMU. Dr. Aabgeena Naeem obtained her doctorate in protein biochemistry from Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit 2007. She qualified National eligibility test GATE and CSIR JRF. She joined as Assistant Prof in Biochemistry in 2006. She is the receipt of Indo US fellowship from ministry of science and technology to carry out her research work in Auburn University United States. She was awarded DBT CREST fellowship for her research in Case western reserve university Ohio USA. She attended FASEB international conference at Florida, USA financed by CSIR and DST travel grant. She has received grants from CSIR and DST. Till date she has published 92 international  research papers such as Archives of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Amino Acid, Biochimie, Biopolymers, BBRC, Cell & Molecular Biology Letters,International Journal of Biochemistry & Cell Biology, International Journal of Diary Research. Her H index is 30. She has attended several international conferences in India. Ten students have been awarded Ph.D with her and four are presently working.
