Mohd. Ikhtair Alam obtained his Bachelor of Architecture in 2020 and Master of Architecture in 2022 from Aligarh Muslim University. He is presently working as a Guest Teacher in the Department of Architecture since September 2025 and has earlier served as a Visiting Faculty for two sessions. His academic and research interests are centred on heritage conservation, adaptive reuse, and sustainable architecture. He has been involved in teaching students in subjects like History of Architecture, Performance Evaluation of Buildings, and Computer Application in Architecture, and has also conducted training programmes on Revit-BIM as a resource person for architecture and civil engineering students. He is a registered member of the Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi, and has approximately two years of professional experience in architectural practice, having worked on projects in Gurgaon and Aligarh.
