Huma Matloob is an Assistant Professor of Architecture in the University Polytechnic of Aligarh Muslim University, India.She completed her B.Arch.from Z.H.College of Engg. and Technology of Aligarh Muslim University. She did her M.Arch. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee. Her current interests include Sustainable Development and Energy Efficiency studies in India and abroad. She was a topper of B.Arch. and received Obaid-bin-Saif-Al-Nasseri gold medal for it. She qualified GATE (90.31 percentile- 122 AIR)and CEED (91.54 percentile-88 AIR) exams and was awarded MHRD scholarship to pursue her M.Arch.in Roorkee. She secured CGPA-8.7 in her masters and is an active academician since 2006.

She has taught for two years in Manipal University, Dubai campus and that experience has made her outlook broader. She knows the various teaching pedagogies adopted in other cultures and universities, which she tries to adopt in her teaching.
