Did his UG-1982, PG-1984 and obtained M. Phil in 1986 and Ph. D. Degree in 1991 from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. Joined as Lecturer in the same Department 1988 and become Associate Professor in 1997 and working as a Professor since 2005 my area of thrust is Modern Arabic Language and Literature, especially Drama and Novels. At present I am teaching UG, PG and Ph. D. level students Drama, Novels, Arabic Rhetoric and Prosody. I have been invited as resource person for many courses held in Academic Staff College in the University and outside the University and also attended many national and international seminars at present I am the Chairperson of the Department and editor of the two Journals published from the Department and also serve University in several administrative positions.
