Dr. Yasser Azim was appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Chemistry, Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, in August 2009. He has over 17 years of teaching experience, encompassing undergraduate and postgraduate instruction.

Throughout his career, Dr. Azim has served the University in various academic and administrative capacities. He has been an elected member of the Academic Council (Assistant Professor category), a member of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, and a member of the Disciplinary Committee of Z.H. College of Engineering & Technology. He has also held responsibilities as Warden of Habib Hall, Sir Shah Sulaiman Hall, and Nadeem Tarin Hall. At present, he additionally serves as President of the Tennis Club, member of the University Games Committee, Assistant Training & Placement Incharge, and Departmental Coordinator for the NBA programme.

Dr. Azim has published approximately 38 research papers, 06 book chapters, 01 edited book in peer‑reviewed international journals and books of repute, including Journal of Polymer Science, Annals of 3D Printed Medicine, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, Crystal Growth & Design, CrystEngComm, Journal of Molecular Liquids, Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Journal of Polymers and the Environment, Journal of Molecular Structure, Polyhedron, Transition Metal Chemistry, and Current Science. He has supervised 17 postgraduate dissertations, guided 03 Ph.D. scholars to completion, and currently mentors 04 doctoral candidates.
