Dr. Shahid Pervez Ansari is currently working as an Assistant professor (contractual) in the Department of Applied Chemistry, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. Before joining AMU, he also worked as a researcher at the Umm Al Qura University, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. He co-authored one textbook, “Faiz’s Polymer Chemistry: A problem solving approach.” He has contributed several chapters to several books published by good publications like Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley. He has also published several research papers in conducting polymers, nanocomposites, and photocatalysis in highly reputed journals. He has also been granted one patent in India. Dr. Ansari obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry in 2011, and presently, he is engaged in teaching students of M.Sc (Polymer Science and Technology) and B.Tech.
