I am an experienced and enthusiastic and focused teacher committed to safeguarding and promoting the education and well-being of children with Visual Impairments. I am passionate about teaching such children in the best possible way. I enjoy working in a busy environment and relish the challenge of managing a diverse workload. I am able to establish a supportive relationship with, not only, my students but also with their parents and fellow teachers, all with the aim of promoting and reinforcing a students' independence and self-esteem. I am always engaged in continuous learning in order to broaden my knowledge and experience. Apart from my extensive knowledge of current educational legislations (PWD Act, RTE Act), practices and procedures in the field of Special Education (Visually Impaired) I feel that my greatest strengths are firstly my ability to build sound relationships with staff and pupils, secondly my skills at gaining a clear understanding of pupils exact needs, and thirdly my commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
