Profile
Overview
Currently serves as Programme Director, UGC Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Academic and Professional Journey
Began her career in the Department of Wildlife Sciences, AMU. Spent 15 years as a dedicated field ornithologist, conducting extensive research on avian ecology.
overseen the organisation of hundreds of Refresher Courses, Orientation Programmes, Faculty Induction and Skill Development Programmes, managing and mentoring thousands of higher education faculty across diverse disciplines. She is currently leading Orientation and Sensitisation Programmes on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, promoting policy awareness and academic transformation in Indian higher education.
Transitioned into interdisciplinary scholarship with additional qualifications in Qur’anic Sciences. Currently a leading researcher at the K.A.N. Centre for Quranic Studies, focusing on faith-based ecological conservation and Islamic eco-theology.
Academic and Leadership Roles
Programme Director of the English Access Micro-Scholarship Programme for underprivileged children in AMU schools, funded by the U.S. Department of State.
Regularly delivers lectures across India on environmental ethics, academic leadership, and interdisciplinary education.

Personal Life and Legacy
Resides in Aligarh with her daughter and son.
Continues the intellectual legacy of her great-grandfather, Allama Ehsanullah Abbasi, a scholar, social reformer, and one of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan’s earliest pupils.
