Departmental Lecture Series A two day workshop on Research Methodology was organised in collaboration with Alumni Academic Enrichment Programme, ( AAEP), AMU with Prof Yasmin Saikia and Professor Chad Haines, Arizona State University as resource persons on 05-05-2018 A workshop on Cyber Security was organised in collaboration with Centre for Social Research, New Delhi on 08-10-2018 in which around 100-150 students participated A Lecture under the University Extension Lecture Series was organised on 22-01-2019 on the topic *"Humansing Security Studies"* ,which was delivered by Prof. Dibyesh Anand, Head of The School of Social Sciences, University of Westminster, United Kingdom. A Lecture under the Departmental Lecture Series was organised on 23rd November, 2019 on the topic "*Locating the Thick and Thin: The Idea of South Asia" which was delivered by Ms. Priyanka Jha, Fellow, Max Weber Centre for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies, Faculty, B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi An online lecture was organised on 6th April, 2021 on "China Factor in the National Security Matrix' in which Prof Harsh V Pant, Visiting Professor Department of War Studies, Kings College London, was the resource person.
