Department of Physics

Every year, Department of Physics celebrates the National Science Day with the involvement of Students, Research Scholars and Faculty members by arranging various programmes such as lectures by eminent speaker/Faculty, Oral poster presentation by research scholars, essay writing competition etc. spread over a week, for inculcating scientific spirit and temper.

This year department is organizing online lectures series from Feb. 15 - 27, 2021. Eminent speaker from reputed institutes such as IITs, IISERs, TIFR, NISER are invited to deliver talks on topics which are very useful for students of the department.

From time to time the faculty members of the Department let the students know about the current topic of research interest, what are the openings available in India and abroad etc.

Students are encouraged to appear in the entrance tests like JEST, BARC trainee, CSIR NET/JRF exams etc.

The arrangements are also made for the students to appear in the recruitment done by I.T. companies like Wipro, TCS etc.
