Department of Ilmul Atfal

The department of Ilmul Atfal was established in 2023 after the nod from visitor AMU i.e. President of India vide letter No. vide Office-Memo D. No. (C) / 642 & 643 dated 03.08.2023, from her department Amraz-e-Niswan wa Atfal, The governing body NCISM (earlier CCIM) has made it mandatory for the colleges to have 14 departments as MSR.

The department has its earmarked beds in the hospital and have a Neonatal stabilization Unit with 05 beds with proper oxygen supply and warmers, which serves the community and help the students and teachers for teaching and learning facility.

The department also runs its separate OPD an all working days with a good number of patients.

The department is trying hard to start its PG course which will serve the nation in respect to Indian Knowledge system up gradation. The department is also working to get the benefits of GOI schemes under NHM such as vaccination malnutrition unit and other government schemes to benefits the catered population and making people aware about the government schemes.

Vision and Mission:

 This department envisages to develop into a prominent pediatric care unit of India offering

    padiatric care at nominal expenses under the guidance of eminent and competent care

    takers.

 It also aims to provide the students with quality and updated knowledge of the subject in

   order to inculcate maximum in the young budding minds.

 The department also looks forward to bring more faculty members and introduce post

   graduate courses to simply the functioning, enhance R and D to substantiate the effect of

   unani medicines in common pediatric disorders and bring more sophisticated and advanced

   tools for easy and early diagnosis.

 Keeping the government initiated outcome based learning as benchmark, the department is

   developing training modules and conducting teachers training programs for better

   implementation of New Education Policy.

 It also aims to focus on Green economy minimizing the use of papers, carbon footprints,

   enhancing digitalization, using energy efficient equipments streamlining the green economy

   initiative.

Future Goals

The department aspires to bring PG courses, projects, integrate with other universities and

industries to boost R and D and get transformed into a prominent educational, training and

research unit.
