1. AMU Centre Kishanganj organized its Sports Week from 27th November to 2nd December 2016. The various sports events held included Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Badminton (Boys and Girls), Chess (Boys and Girls) and Carrom (Boys and Girls).
2. AMU Centre Kishanganj organized a Guest Lecture on Untold Facts about Sir Syed Ahmad Khan by Prof. M. Shafey Kidwai (Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, AMU, Aligarh) on 18th November, 2016 at Academic Block, AMU Centre Kishanganj.
3. AMU Centre Kishanganj organized a Guest Lecture on Media Management by Mr. Md. Mudassir Alam (PRO, Central University of South Bihar) on 5th November, 2016 at Academic Block, AMU Centre Kishanganj.
4. Department of Education, AMU Centre Kishanganj organized Freshers Party for students of B.Ed 1st Year on 22nd October 2016 at Academic Block, AMU Centre Kishanganj.
5. Prof. Anwar Khursheed (University Engineer, Aligarh Muslim University) visited the proposed site for construction of AMU Centre Kishanganj at Chakla on 21st October 2016. Prof. Khursheed inspected all the locations where the boundary had fallen on the site during recent floods at Kishanganj.
6. Department of Business Administration organized Freshers Party for Students of MBA 1st Year on 19th October 2016 at Academic Block, AMU Centre Kishanganj.
7. AMU Centre Kishanganj celebrated Sir Syed Day (199th Birth Anniversary of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan) on 17th October 2016 with great fervour and exhilaration as per the traditions of Aligarh Muslim University. Dr. Abdul Ghafoor, Honorable Minister for Minority Welfare, Government of Bihar, graced the occasion as Chief Guest while Master Mujahid Alam (MLA, Kochadhaman Kishanganj) and Dr. Mohammad Jawaid (MLA, Kishanganj) were the Guests of Honours.
