INDUSTRIAL CHEMISTRY

Our current PEOs for graduating students are as follow:

1. To produce well trained and vibrant chemist for chemical industries.

2. To impart knowledge to students that comprises of good balance between pure and applied areas of chemistry along with subject of chemical engineering.

3. To imparts proper Industrial training and exposure to real work environment for the students

4. To produce well equipped chemists with R&D, Quality Control and Production units of Chemical Industries involving Pharmaceutical, Paints, Polymers, Petrochemicals, Metal Refining Industries etc.

After completion of the program the graduate will be able

1. To possess requisite skills to be placed as Chemist, Research Assistant, Tech Support in chemical industries

2. To design proper experiments for the development of new chemicals and products with better quality and lower cost

3. To be hired in scientist in PSUs like ONGC, GAIL, Hindustan Zinc Ltd, IOCL as well as research institutions like DRDO, BARC etc.

4. To acquire professional ethics, responsibilities, leadership qualities, and the importance of teamwork

5. To pursue their career in higher Academic and research institutions and to carry out quality research.
