Aligarh Muslim University has a glorious past and has been a pioneer in the context of education, social reform, and empowerment. Our visionary founder Sir Syed Ahmed Khan envisioned imparting modern education in society.

The residential campus gives it a unique campus with students from all parts of the country and even abroad reflecting the rich cultural tapestry residing with harmony in various halls. AMU has reformed the lives of millions who are now leading a successful life contributing towards the progress of society and the nation. Our commitment to imparting quality education and social empowerment has remained an integral part of our ethos. There have been tough times but with the support of everyone we have been able to navigate through the daunting challenges.

Over the years, AMU has created a niche and has established itself as a premier institution valued for its teaching, research, and innovation. All this has been possible with the support of our esteemed Faculty Members who have made significant contributions in various fields. They have been instrumental in guiding the students with impeccable academic support and also guiding them in all fields.

We have to embrace and be ready for the future where technology will play a prominent role. There are new modes of learning, online resources, and virtual classrooms and the willingness to adapt to these changes will be instrumental in shaping the future of our students. The Faculty members are always open to extending a helping hand in guiding the student fraternity.
