OFFICE OF THE REGISTRAR(LEGAL SECTION)ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY, ALIGARH
Legal Section deals with all Court Cases
(except property matter), coordination with University's advocates, vetting of
Memorandum of Understanding, Annual Maintenance Contact, documents relating to
Loans, Deed of Agreements, Appointment of Arbitrators, Bonds such as Study
Leave, Scholarship, etc files relating to the payment to the legal heirs of the
deceased employees, Legal Notice/Reply, Legal opinion, to send the RTI applications
and appeal (received in the office of
the CAPIO) to the respective offices, submission of monthly, quarterly and annual
report under Section 25 of the RTI Act 2005 (as per the instructions received
from M/o HRD from time to time).
The Legal Section also includes the office of
the Central Assistant Public Information Office and it has also been assigned
the responsibility to process the matters relating to the registration of
University's Publication with the Registrar, News Paper of India, New Delhi.
