Technical competence and skill is the need of the hour to synergize with the national agenda of the make in India concept and to promote export of the Indian products in a global world. Footwear is a part of the apparel and it is not only governed by factors like comfort etc. but also by fashion trends to a larger extent, which is changing at a high rate. Keeping in mind this growing demand this course of diploma in computerized shoe design and development was started in community college in 2014. Creativity is the thrust area that is more emphasized along with the skill to cater to the growing needs of the industry and the course curriculum has been designed as per Industry needs.
