WELCOME TO CENTRE FOR WOMEN'S STUDIES
- 2002-
The Centre for Women's Studies, AMU established.
 - 2008-
Upgradation of Centre directly from Phase I to Phase III by UGC.
 - 2012- Assigned the status of "Advanced Centre" by UGC in its XII plan .
 
Milestones:
2004-05 : Women's studies accepted as a subsidiary subject at undergraduate level in faculty of Social Sciences.
- 2007-08 : Ph.D./M.Phil programme introduced.
 
- 2011-12 : Master's Course in Women's Studies Started. Reading materials compiled in English and Hindi,
made available free of cost to every student.
 - 2013-14 : Undergraduate course in Women's Studies started.
