15-APR-2015: Aligarh Muslim University Students Community recently felicitated the Training and Placement officer (General), Saad Hameed for his continuous hard work and painstaking efforts for the placements of the University students.
Experiencing a flood of job placements for the last two years, under the coordinator ship of Mr Hameed, around 384 candidates have been selected and many other students are still waiting for their selections so far in a recently organized four-day Recruitment Festival. Around 42 Companies of National and International repute participated in the Recruitment Festival.
"AMU, along with its academic credential is now also being recognized for its placement record," said Mr Hameed who added that the graph of the visiting companies is getting up day by day.
He also said that the University's Engineering College, already has a glorious history of placements, but the placements of the non technical courses were lacking before two years.
Mr Hameed pointed out that now reputed companies are coming to hire Under Graduate and Post Graduate students of courses like, Arts, Commerce, Management, IT, science, Life science, education, Social work, etc.
Complementing the Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah and Pro Vice Chancellor, Brigadier S Ahmad Ali for their continuous support and motivation for making it happen; Mr Hameed said that all the efforts in the field of placements would not have been possible without the positive leadership of the present administration.
