AMU?s delegation visits AIIMS
ALIGARH April 12: A delegation of the members of the Medical Education Unit (MEU) of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University visited the K L Wig Centre for Medical Education Technology (CMET), All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, to assimilate information about the Medical Education Unit and curriculum planning at at AIIMS for its implementation at AMU.
Addressing the visiting AMU delegation, Prof O P Kharbanda, Chief CMET and Prof K K Deepak, Professor-in-Charge, CMET, AIIMS, welcomed the efforts of the JNMC?s Medical Education Unit for improvising the curriculum at AMU and upgrading the teaching quality. Several orientation sessions were also organized during the visit.
The visiting delegation comprising Prof Seema Hakim, Prof Sangeeta Singhal, Prof Shagufta Moin, Dr Jameel Ahmad, Dr Ruhi Khan, Dr Adil Raza, Dr Deoshree Akhouri and Dr Mohd Imran, also viewed different facilities at the AIIMS including E-learning facility, Skill Lab and library.
Mr Yogesh Kumar, Educational Media Generalist at AIIMS facilitated the orientation sessions.
