Mr. Junaid Ahmad Parrey is a distinguished Guest Teacher at the Department of Physical Education, Aligarh Muslim University, bringing a specialized focus on human physical performance, particularly in Sports Biomechanics and Physical Therapy. He recently submitted his Ph.D. thesis, which delves into the effectiveness of exercise therapy in managing lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow). An accomplished alumnus of AMU, Mr. Parrey's academic record is stellar, marked by a University Gold Medal in his Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed) and securing the second rank in his Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed). He is also a UGC-NET qualified academic whose technical skills are further augmented by a certificate in Strength and Conditioning, Sports psychology and proficiency in advanced research methodologies like EMG analysis for muscle activity. Mr. Parrey possesses a robust research profile with 11 publications in various peer-reviewed and Scopus-indexed journals, including the prestigious Scientific Reports(by Nature), and has actively presented his work at numerous national and international conferences. His practical experience is extensive, including a prior role as a Guest Faculty at Rajiv Gandhi University and officiating at prestigious national-level events such as the Khelo India University Games (Athletics) and the Khelo India Yogasana Championship. Demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development, Mr. Parrey has actively participated in numerous workshops, notably the international workshop on Clinical and Orthopedic Biomechanics and National workshop on Officiating and Coaching.
