Dr. Akhlad Iqbal received his MPhil and PhD degrees from the Department of Mathematics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, in 2011.

He joined Aligarh Muslim University as an Assistant Professor in August 2015. Prior to this, he served at several prestigious institutions, including Integral University, Lucknow; BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus; and the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda.

He has been the recipient of several prestigious awards and fellowships, including CSIR-NET (AIR 32), CSIR-SRF, GATE, NBHM-PDF, and a Fellowship for the MS program at the Central European University, Budapest, Hungary.

He has visited several countries and delivered invited talks at various national and international conferences and seminars. His research contributions have been published in reputed national and international journals, including Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications (Springer), Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods and Applications (Elsevier), Optimization (Taylor & Francis), Signal Processing (Elsevier), Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization (Taylor & Francis), and Taiwanese Journal of Mathematics.
