Time Table Time Table

Dr. Nisar Ahmad Khan did his B.A., M.A., M. Phil., and Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University. He was awarded the Cambridge Commonwealth Scholarship to pursue a Diploma in Development Studies at the University of Cambridge U.K. Dr. Khan joined AMU as Lecturer in 1983. He was appointed Reader in 1992 and Professor in 2003. He worked as a Professor of Economics under the United Nations Development Programme in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Business and Economics, Ethiopian Civil Service College, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 01.10.2004 to 05.09.2007. Dr. Khan was Chairperson Department of Economics, AMU, Aligarh, from 3013 to 2016 and was Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, AMU, Aligarh, from 2020 to 2022. He has published several research articles in national and international journals, many of which are Scopus-indexed journals. He has also accomplished several research projects. Dr. Khan has delivered invited lectures at several universities and has chaired technical sessions at conferences and seminars. His thrust areas are Monetary Economics and Development Economics. He teaches Economics of Growth & Monetary Economics to postgraduate students and international Economics & Financial Economics to undergraduate students.
