A team of Doctor headed by Dr. Kalpana Baghel including senior resident (Dr. Neha Jain) and junior resident (Dr. Nidhi Garg Dr. Bhramita Roy, Dr. Arun Chaudhary, Dr. Garima Pathak, Dr. Kushal M. Sakure)
Went in maternal health camps on 5th February 2016 during maternal health week, in District Hospital (Mohanlal Gautam Hospital Aligarh) and various CHCs at females with Iglas, Harduaganj, Bijoli, Atrauli.
There they examined antenatal women and advised them regarding maternal and fetal well being. They successfully identified female with High Risk pregnancy and referred them to proper facilities.
A Health Awareness Camp was organized by the members of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and other members of Aligarh Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society on 27th August 2017 in City High School which was situated in new friends colony, street no. 12 ,Jeevangarh from 11a.m to 4.00p.m. The aim was to impart knowledge among the masses that routine health checkup is extremely important so that potential problems can be spotted early and if necessary, initiate the necessary treatment. Health checks and screenings are an important aspect of your health . Some problems can be detected by regular check- up. For instance, your blood pressure can be gauged only when you have it checked regularly. Diabetes you can find out if you have diabetes or not only, when you take a blood test. And, sometimes it may be too late to avoid complications. Following activities was included in this camp

â?¢ Blood Glucose Testing
â?¢ Bone Mineral Density.
According to their investigation reports the women was counseled, referred and adequate treatment was advised.
An outreach come was organised by department of obstetrics & gynaecology (J.N.M.C.H, AMU) in Collaboration with Department of social work (AMU, Aligarh) at village Mirzapur on 07.02.2018 under the guidance of Prof. Tamkin Khan with junior residents total 40 no of Gynaecological patients attended were Health check-up was done & free Medication was given to the patients. Prof. Tamkin Khan addressed the patients & their attendant were counselled about health check-up post-Menopausal bleeding, irregular bleeding , ANC visits & other Gynaecological complaints They were also counselled to come to J.N.M.C.H for their proper evaluation & treatment junior residents attended the outreach camp and provided consultation were as follows.
