INBISAAT-2011, a Fresher-cum-cultural and literary event was organized by the M.Sc. (final year) students of the Department of Agricultural Microbiology, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, A.M.U. to make students aware of the well crafted traditions of AMU, cultural values and its advantages, role and responsibility of AMU both at national and global level and Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, a role model in the modern education system.
In this colorful evening, students expressed their feelings and opinions. The newly admitted students also performed different programmes on stage and the performance of Mr. Mohd. Shariq Adnan and Ms. Sahar Fatima was the highlight of the evening. While addressing a handful gathering, Prof. Farzana Alim, Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences stressed that such events are extremely important part of any education system & training programmes. She further said that through this platform, students get opportunity to express their hidden and unexplored talent which eventually may lead to create a healthy and livable environment in academic setup.
Dr. Iqbal Ahmad, Chairman, Department of Agricultural Microbiology thanks the students for showing interest in AMU traditions and emphasis the need for more such events for overall personality buildup of the students and to spread positive thought and strengthen the good teacher student relationship. Dr. Ahmad further urged upon to follow and spread the message of serving community with purpose pronounced by the founder of this University.
Dr. Md. Saghir Khan, Associate Professor also expressed the need to develop a strong self discipline among students and to maintain a good academic environment within campus.
Mr. Mohammad Shavez Khan conducted the function and Mr. Shariq Qayyum presented vote of thanks.
