Executive Section, Registrar's Office, A.M.U. Aligarh
Section of the Registrar?s Office is one
of the oldest Section and is functioning since the inception of the University
which is located on the Second Floor of the Administrative Block. Presently
this section mainly deals with the following works:
To maintain Seniority lists of Teachers of the
University (Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors).
To maintain Seniority lists of Non-teaching Staff
(Ministerial & Secretarial staff).
To maintain Seniority list of Deans of
Faculties, Chairmen of the Department of Studies, Principals of Colleges,
Provosts of Halls and principals of schools.
Grant of Handicap Allowance/Incentive
Increment for maintaining small family norms (family planning).
To issue N.O.C./ Identity Certificates to the University employees for Indian Passport.
To issue Railway Concession books for
home town and Educational tours to the students.
Fund raising for Communal Harmony.
To issue Notices of holidays in the
To issue Notifications of office hours of
the University/school timings and timing on other occasions i.e. Idul
Fitra/Idul Azha/holy month of Ramadan.
To organize University functions i.e.
Republic Day, Independence Day, Annual Convocation,
Sir Syed Day
celebrations, Gandhi Jayanti and Martyrs? Day.
The Section also performs any other work
assigned by the higher authorities from time to time.
