About The Conference:

The International Conference on Emerging Computational Intelligence (ICECI 2026) took place on April 4–5, 2026, at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, organized by the Department of Computer Science and technically sponsored by the IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section.

ICECI 2026 aimed to provide a premier platform for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and practitioners to share developments in computational intelligence, control systems, industrial informatics, and related interdisciplinary domains. The conference promoted collaboration and innovation through keynote addresses, technical sessions, and global networking opportunities.

About The Department:

Established in 1971, the Department of Computer Science at Aligarh Muslim University is among India’s oldest institutions for computing education. The department introduced the MCA and PGDCA programmes in 1983, Ph.D. programme in 2009, and M.Sc. in Cyber Security & Digital Forensics in 2021. It offers diverse undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes aligned with contemporary academic and industry requirements. The department has also been ranked in the 401–500 band globally for Computer Science in the Times Higher Education Subject Rankings 2025.

About The Aligarh Muslim University:

Aligarh Muslim University, established in 1920 and recognized as an Institution of National Importance, ranks 3^rd among government universities in the 2025 India Today–MDRA survey. Accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC, the University secured 8^th position among universities and 16^th overall in NIRF 2024.
