Time Table

Dr. Mumtaj Ahmad obtained his M.Sc and Ph.D. degree from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, AMU, Aligarh. Dr, Ahmad has worked as a Research Associate in IIPS, Mumbai. ICSSR awarded him Post Doctoral Fellowship in 2012, also conducted two ICSSR sponsored workshop on Research Methodology in Social Sciences. UGC-BSR Start-Up Research Project in 2015 has also granted him. Besides, he has completed two Outreach Programmes on 'GIS and Remote Sensing' conducted by IIRS, Dehradun. He has published three books and forty-six research papers in various reputed National and International Journal. To his credit, he has presented more than thirty research papers in National and International Conferences. His field of research interest is Applied Geography, Agriculture Geography, Industrial Geography, and Environment Geography. He teaches various courses of Geography i.e. Geomorphology, Climatology, Resources, Health Geography, Industrial Geography, Environment Geography, Cartography and Remote Sensing.
