Dr. Parveen Beg joined the Electronics Engineering Section at Women?s Polytechnic in January 2015. She was previously employed as a TemporaryLecturer/Guest Teacher in the Department of Electronics Engineering, Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India since 2004. She received her PhD, M.Tech (Hons.) and B.Tech degrees in Electronics Engineering from AMU in 2012, 2002 and 1999 respectively. She was awarded the University Medal for securing first position in her M.Tech. programme. She was also awarded the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) scholarship to pursue PhD from Loughborough University, United Kingdom.
Her research interests include analysis and design of analog signal processing circuits. She has published 24 papers in reputed International Journals and Conferences. She has also on the reviewer panel for high quality journals such as International Journal of Electronics and Active passive and Electronic Components. Over the course of her academic career she has taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate and the postgraduate level including subjects such as Electronics Circuits and Low power VLSI design. She has significant practical experience of electronic circuit design and is equally adept at realizing circuit designs both on hardware platform as well as modeling and simulation software such as Cadence Virtuoso, OrCAD PSPICE etc.
