Prof. (Dr.) Neha Agrawal is Professor and Chairperson, Department of Public Health Dentistry, Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University, India. With over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, clinical practice, academic leadership, and community outreach, she has made significant contributions to Public Health Dentistry, Oral Cancer Prevention, Tobacco Cessation, and Oral Health-Related Quality of Life research.
She has authored more than 70 scientific publications, including numerous PubMed- and Scopus-indexed papers, and has published four international books. Her academic excellence has been recognized through several prestigious awards, including the Young Faculty Award in Health and Medical Sciences (2018), Best Faculty Paper Award (2022), and Second Best Paper Awards at national and international conferences in 2023 and 2024, including Bangkok, Thailand.
Dr. Agrawal has served as a National Trainer under the National Oral Health Programme (NOHP) and was the Course Coordinator of the SWAYAM-NPTEL MOOC on Tobacco Cessation for Healthcare Professionals. She is actively involved in innovative research on oral cancer diagnostics and is a co-inventor of an Indian patent-design for an Oral Cancer Screening Thermal Scanner.
A committed educator and public health advocate, she has led numerous community outreach programs, tobacco-control initiatives, oral cancer awareness campaigns, and oral health promotion activities, contributing significantly to improving oral health among underserved and vulnerable populations.
