Dr. Husain has joined this department as a lecturer in 2001. He is working in the field of condensed matter physics and his areas of research include CMR materials, dilute magnetic semiconductors, orthoferrites and orthochromites. He has published more than 100 research papers in peer reviewed international journals and conference proceedings.The prominent journals in which his articles have been published are such as Journal of Physics of Condensed Matter, Applied Physics Letters, Journal of Applied Physics, Journal of Chemical Physics, Journal of Alloys and Compounds etc.He has presented his research work in many International conferences in India and abroad and also visited The Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy and Max Planck Institute for Physics of Complex System, Dresden Germany to attend the workshops and schools. Dr. Husain is acting as reviewer for reputed publications houses including Elsevier, Springer, Institute of Physics, UK, American Institute of Physics etc.
