Mohammad Muqim got his bachelor degree in Physics and master in Philosophy from Aligarh Muslim University. During the course of research he was appointed as a lecturer in 1975. Later on he got the opportunity to do another M.A. in Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he got the training of Contemporary Western Philosophy specifically philosophy of science, Epistemology and philosophy of language. His teaching interest includes Contemporary Epistemology, Contemporary metaphysics, Philosophy of Science, Ethics and Symbolic logic. His articles have been published in Indian Philosophical Quarterly, Darshan International, Journal of Objective Studies and Aligarh Journal of Islamic Philosophy.
