I am currently working as Professor , Department of Computer Science ,A.M.U., Aligarh. I joined Department of Computer Science in the year 1990 , I did my Graduation in Electrical engineering from Z.H.C.O.E.T , AMU, Aligarh in 1986 ,Masters in Computer Science from AMU, Aligarh in 1990 and Ph.D. from AMU., Aligarh.  I have got 33 years of Teaching experience at National and International level and have guided around 180 dissertations at PG level and around 120 at UG level. My area of Interests are Soft computing, Image processing, Cloud Computing  and Internet of Things (IOT). I am working as Coordinator, National Education Policy Cell, AMU, Aligarh since Nov, 2021 and has successfully implemented FYUP (Four Year Undergraduate Program) from the session 2022-23 in AMU and currently working towards the implementation of ABC (Academic Bank of Credits) in AMU as per the directives of MOE and UGC. I am working as Nodal officer, National Academic Depository, AMU since 2018. I have worked as Chairman, Department of Computer Science from 2013 to 2014. I have worked as Director, Computer Centre, A.M.U., Aligarh from 2012 to 2013. I have worked as HOD/Program Coordinator, Department of Information Science & Technology, MCMAS (UMR-Rolla), Muscat for Four Years from July, 2004 till July 2008.I was actively involved in the development of the Salary and Accounting system of A.M.U., during my tenure as Systems Manager, CU-CAO A.M.U.
