PROFILE

Prof. Babu Bakhsh Mansuri born in khundara, Pilibhit (U.P.) did his B.Com (Hons),M.Com from Aligarh Muslim University and D.Phil from the University of Allahabad.(India).He qualified BET (Equivalent to NET accredited by U.G.C.) and has done faculty development Program. Prof. Mansuri is serving as Professor of Commerce at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (India) since 2013. 

 His area of specialization is accounting and finance including Entrepreneurship. He is associated with teaching post graduate courses and guiding Ph.D. thesis in the area of accounting and finance in the department of Commerce at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.He has guided 04 Phd students and 30 postgraduate students in their dissertations.

Prof. Mansuri also served at King Abdul-Aziz University, Jeddah (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) on foreign assignment from 2015-2018. Prof. Mansuri was pioneer in organizing a number of workshops on VAT & IFRS in Saudi Arabia and received many appreciation certificates from the University authorities. He has been conferred Fellow of IAAP (UK).

Prof. Mansuri is appointed member of the Board of Studies (Commerce) at the Meerut University for the period of 2023-2025. He is also editorial member of many journals.

Prof. Mansuri is a prolific writer published 61research papers and five books. He has also edited a book titled “Economic Reforms in India: Issues and Challenges” published from New Century Publication, New Delhi- a widely acclaimed reference for post-graduate courses in economics and commerce of several Indian Universities and indexed in the U.S. Congress Library.

The other books “A Glossary of Business Economics," Financial Accounting ", Banking and Financial Systems and Management Accounting are also very popular among students.


He has attended 28 training programs and 75National/International Conferences/Workshops and delivered a number of lectures and Radio talks and chaired technical sessions. He is also editorial board member/ reviewer in the journals of repute.

Prof. Mansuri has served as a Coordinator, 10+2 Commerce in the Centre for Distance Education ,member in various committees of college such as admissions, examination, discipline, tour and Warden of five Halls and Pro Proctor ,Aligarh Muslim University . He is holding position of In charge, Commerce Section in Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and also served as Programme Officer, N.S.S. AMU Unit

He has also performed duties as Observer in MBBS/BDS/ B.A./B.Com /B.Tech entrance examination and visiting faculty at Food Craft Institute, Aligarh. He was advisor of Commerce Society, Women’s College, A. M.U. Aligarh. He has evaluated Ph.D thesis of many universities and conducted Viva-Voce.


Prof. Mansuri is actively associated with professional bodies like All India Commerce Association and U.P. Uttrakhand Economic Association as a life member. He is the member of board of studies, Department of Commerce since 2003 and also member of Faculty meeting  A.M.U. Aligarh.

Keeping in view of his outstanding achievements, he was conferred Amity Excellence Award of Best Professor -2020 in the area of Commerce by the Amity university, Noida (India).
