Dr. Shamsheed Ahmed is working as an Assistant Professor in the Centre for Distance and Online Education, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He completed his Post Graduation and Ph.D. in Medieval Indian History from the Department of History, AMU. His main areas of research interest include Bhakti and Sufi traditions, socio-religious movements in Medieval India, and Nirguna Bhakti literature. He has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals and has actively participated in various seminars and conferences. He has extensive teaching experience in institutions such as the University of Delhi and AMU, and is actively engaged in academic research and student mentorship.
