Dr. Afshan Meer completed her Ph.D. in Public Administration (D/o Political Science) from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, in 2015. Her key areas of expertise and research include Public Administration, Sustainable Development, Development Administration, Human Rights, Police Administration, and Good Governance. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from AMU and is UGC NET-qualified. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Afshan gained valuable experience, working as a Post Doctoral Fellow with  Indian Institute of Social Science Research (ICSSR) for nearly two years. She has an impressive research portfolio, with numerous publications in Web of Social Science, Scopus-indexed, and other peer-reviewed Journals and Conferences. Additionally, She has actively participated in various workshops and faculty development programs. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Centre for Distance and Online Education, AMU, Aligarh.
