04-OCT-2014: A pre-placement talk and interactive session was organized for the students of School of Nursing, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University with the representatives of Columbia Asia Group of Hospitals.
Addressing the students, Ms Anne Mathew, HR Head (North India), Columbia Asia Group of Hospitals, highlighted career opportunities for nursing students in the chain of hospitals run by Columbia Asia Group of Hospitals in India and abroad.
The first ever pre-placement interactive session was supported and guided by Professor Tariq Mansoor, Principal and Chief Medical Superintendent, JN Medical College.
Addressing on the occasion, Professor Farida Ahmad, Principal, School of Nursing said that the responsibility of the teachers did not end with providing quality education to students, but they also had a responsibility to ensure that their students got maximum benefits in the form of better placement opportunities.
Mr Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (General), said that the main objective of the training and placement cell was to help establish a healthy relationship between AMU and the corporate world to provide better placement opportunities to the students.
