23-Mar-2015: Aligarh Muslim University's Office of Election Officer of Technical Staff Association today confirmed that polling for Technical Staff Association elections will be held on April 8 at AMU's Teaching staff Club.
The election date was confirmed through a circular issued by Election Officer, Prof Amjad Massod. The notice also stated that the counting of votes and the declaration of results will also take place at AMU Teaching staff Club on April 8.
Prof Amjad Massod confirmed that the display and the final displays of the voters list will be on March 19 and March 23 respectively. "The issuance and filing of nomination papers will take place on March 24 and 25 while scrutiny of nominations will be on March 26," stated Professor Amjad in the notice.
"The withdrawal of nominations can be done on March 27 and filing in corrections in the voters list will be on March 20 and 21," said Prof Amjad.
He also said that the nomination fee for the post of president, senior vice-president, vice-president, secretary general and treasurer is Rs 1000 while the fee for nominations for secretary and executive member is Rs 700 and 500 respectively. "The nomination fee for all posts is non-refundable," said Prof Amjad.
