30-APR-2015: In a letter to the Prime Minister of India, the Resident Doctors Association (RDA) of Aligarh Muslim University's Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) has offered medical and logistic support for the Victims of Nepal earth quake, which has affected people in Nepal, Bihar, Bengal and Uttar Pradesh.
The RDA president, Mohd Tabish Khan has stated in the letter that the RDA is ready for every possible help with the disaster management teams working in the quake hit areas.
"We, the members of RDA, JNMC, Aligarh Muslim University wish to offer our sincere sympathy and condolences to all the affected people in Nepal, Bihar and adjoining areas," stated the letter written to the Prime Minister.
Dr Tabish Khan further wrote that it was soon after the news of the disaster broke out, we decided to extend our cooperation to earthquake affected areas. He has also mentioned that the RDA is ready to help in whatever capacity the Prime Minister of India deems fit for them.
