16-DEC-2015: The Aligarh Muslim University Training and Placement Office (General) recently organized a career guidance seminar on the topic, 'Jobs and Careers after 10+2', in which India's premier coaching centre, Narayana was invited to address the senior secondary school students aspiring to crack IIT and PMT entrance examinations.
Stating the objective of the seminar was to make students aware of whole gamut of career possibilities after passing their senior secondary schools, Mr Saad Hameed, TPO (General) said that the speakers in the seminar highlighted the importance of self-actualization, strengths, interests and skills of the students.
Talking about the role pf parents in grooming their children for career opportunities, Mr Hameed said the parents should know their children's ability and strengths before they decide upon a career. He added that there is an ocean of opportunities and students need the right guidance before picking up careers, best suited for them.
Mr Hameed added that parents need to spend time with their children to discuss their interests and ambitions. He urged parents not to force upon career choices, in which their children are not interested in.
Meanwhile, Dr V K Arora of Narayana, New Delhi, talked about the strategy and planning to qualify India's premier engineering and pre-medical examinations.
Dr R V Chaudhary, Director, Narayana, New Delhi, shared tips to the audience about techniques of qualifying the premiere competitive exams of the country.
The Narayana officials interacted with students and their parents before the conclusion of the programme.
Students and their parents appreciated the efforts to organize the programme. Parents of students attending the seminar have said that these programmes help a lot in motivating students to make correct career decisions.
The parents of students have further commented that they think that AMU is doing excellent in guiding students and TPO's hardwork is revealing good results.
