06-JAN-2016: The Pro-Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Brig. S. Ahmad Ali has appreciated the services of Prof. Mohibullah, former Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, who retired from University services after a long stint as teacher on December 31 last.
Prof. Mohibullah who joined AMU on December 28, 1972, served the University in different capacities including as Chairman, Department of Electrical Engineering, Officiating Principal, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology and Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He has also tenanted a number of prestigious assignments like Member Incharge, Electricity and Telephones, Member AMU Court, Executive Council and Academic Council.
A very conscientious, competent and capable teacher, Prof. Mohibullah has proved his mettle by discharging assignments with great finesse and aplomb, said Brig. Ali. He further pointed out that Prof. Mohibullah had been "an excellent team member with high integrity, honesty and an outstanding intelligence quotient".
Widely admired and respected by his students and faculty members, Prof. Mohibullah had been at the crux of affairs involving progress and development of the Zakir Husain Engineering College.
The Pro-Vice Chancellor has expressed an active life with good health to Prof. Mohibullah.
