23-Feb-2016: The Aligarh Muslim University Training and Placement Office (General) and University Polytechnic (Boys) recently organized a corporate lecture of Mr Sanjeev Sharma, an AMU alumnus and General Manager, HR and Administration, Sterling Agro Industries Limited for the students of Advance Diploma in Food Technology and Master of Agriculture and Business Management.
In the lecture, Mr Sharma guided the students on various aspects of job prospects; private and government organizations that are involved in the food sectors; India's expenditure on foods and grocery and the importance of the concept of 'Make in India.'
During his lecture, Dr Sharma also motivated students to become entrepreneurs.
Meanwhile, Mr Saad Hameed, TPO (General) talked about how students should prepare for job interviews.
Mr Hameed also suggested AMU to have an agreement with Sterling Agro Industry Limited so that the students may get a regular platform for industrial visits, training for projects and professional exposure.
Professor Syed Iqbal Ali (Principal, University Polytechnic), Mr Mohsin Khan (TPO-in-charge, University Polytechnic), Mr Sabir Ali Khan, Mr Mohd Yonus Khan, Mr Jaan Nisar Akhter, Mr Mohd Ali Jauhar, Miss Sadaf Ahmed and Mr Rashid Imran Ahmad Khan also attended the programme.
