22-SEP-2016: Dr Mehdi Hayat Shahi, Assistant Professor, Interdisciplinary Brain Research Centre, Faculty of Medicine, JNMC was recently invited to deliver a lecture on 'Therapeutic Targets of Sonic Hedgehog Signalling Cascade in Brian Tumor Glimona' at the Department of Biochemistry, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
The programme was attended by neuro-oncologists, dignitaries, academicians, doctors, scholars and students from AIIMS and all over the country.
During the interaction with people attending the programme, Dr Shahi talked about the how glimona as the most common brain cancer is becoming a problem and how to cure it.
Dr Shahi and other top neuro-oncologists also proposed the potential clinical investigations for the early screening of glimona patients to enhance their survival.
Dr Shahi has specifically thanked Coordinator IBRC; Professor Ammaullah Khan, Dean Faculty of Medicine and Professor Tariq Mansoor, Principal, JNMC for their cooperation.
